İRFAN ERTEL
'HUMAN and NATURE' EXHIBITION

The personal exhibition ‘Human and Nature’ by İrfan Ertel, aiming to show us the details we miss in daily life, the beauties and the contradictions, is opening at 11 March 2010 at Schneidertempel Art Gallery .
In this exhibition, with about 35 paintings from İrfan Ertel, the selected details from nature and the working woman portraits from the country side of Anatolia
marks the highlights. Women that are quiet in the daily life, speak with the lines on their faces in the paintings of Ertel; the thorns that you don’t even realize while you pass them by in rush, come to life through the brush of the artist, whisper you to slow down and see the beauties of the nature. To the olive trees that are the subject of the most remarkable pictures in the gallery, the artist takes a look again with a realistic approach and interpretation.
İrfan Ertel, born in 1951 in Muğla, opened his first personal exhibition at 1974, while he was still a student at İstanbul State Academy Of Fine Arts.
